Maddy and I are participating in
Mission: Put Together. Our goal is to make an effort in our appearance for 30 days. Not that we go out of the house looking disheveled. Ok, one time, but I was only going to get milk!
Here are our ensembles for the first week. More to come this week!

You've inspired me! Not enough to do the whole posting pictures thing, but enough to spend $300 this weekend buying clothes so I can wear real clothes to work and jeans only on Casual Fridays, instead of three times a week 'cause "I have nothing to wear!"
ReplyDeleteI bought 2 jackets that can be worn with both black and brown, for different looks, a bag to match one of the jackets, a pair of dressy pants I may or may not keep (I didn't look at the price tag 'til after I decided they looked great on me! $75!), and 2 blouses, one for casual and one for one of the two jackets.
My next project? Shoes, and bras. (How I despise shopping for shoes and bras... oh, well.)
Way to go. My "Mission: Put Together" includes hoping that the clothes I pick from my closet in the pitch-black morning end up matching my shoes. I'll do anything not to have to turn on the light when it's still dark outside!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea. I just may try to do the same thing. Of course you already look like a model!
ReplyDeleteurgh...you are much better with your follow through than I am...LOL. I have done nothing but bemoan the fact that my closet is a mess and I HAVE NO CLOTHES TO WEAR. Cute outfits.
ReplyDeleteKim, I have never seen you NOT looking put together.
ReplyDeleteOkay, so it's not that hard to look more put together than me.
I love the concept! Probably not enough to follow through with it, but enough to make me think a little more about what I put on everyday. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLove it, love it, love it.
ReplyDeleteYou gals look great.
AND I am coveting that purple sweater you're wearing in photo #1.
