The horrible gaping open wound will heal and morph into a scar you will carry forever. Happiness as you defined it before will be redefined and evolve into different joys. The first two years after a horrible loss (at least for me) - maybe 3 years - were all about just getting from one day to the next...just breathe...hugs to you.
What an AMAZING photo! Gave me chills when I saw it. I'm so blown away by your strength. Happy that you have a court date. You are such an inspiration!
I've been thinking about you lots lately, with Mother's Day and hearing they set the court dates.
I hope that whatever the outcome of the trial(s), that it brings you the closure you're looking for. Personally, I think the changes made to the State Police procedures as a result of this situation are a great service to the state and its people, and so even though Trooper Mitchell hasn't faced his peers in court yet, there's already something good to point to in the face of such tragedy.
They were so beautiful. I think of them (and you) nearly every day.

What a beautiful picture of your girls!! I'm glad you and your family have a court date to look towards! Big hugs and many prayers!
I don't know what is the right thing to say...
I'm guessing that closure will be impossible, no matter what happens in the trial, especially when you look at a wonderfully happy photo like that.
Thinking of you.
Wonderful pic. Just to let you know you are in my thoughts everyday.
What a wonderful picture. I do hope someday you will find that happiness again.

the love shown here makes my heart ache...
trials are so hard on the family. Some courts provide advocates or liaisons, why may ask if that is service yours has.
I read something in the last few weeks (I think it might have been an old article) and thought of you and have been wondering how you are doing.
Thinking of you. Lots.
This is a beautiful photo. Sending thoughts, prayers, hugs, and strength your way.
