300!

Wow, this is my 300th post. Who knew I was so prolific?
The job interview went great, and I'm cautiously optimistic I'll be called for a second interview. I've enjoyed my time off and I'll be sad to leave Maddy, but right now a paycheck would be a welcome sight.

My new writing gig over at Girls Guide to the Galaxy is going well. Note the pink badge on yonder sidebar - mark your calendar for the Relaunch Party on June 11 at The Royale. Stop by and say hi, and you might win some fantastic prizes! Like what? Well, stay tuned and check me out at GGTTG - more details coming soon! While you are there, take a moment to enjoy one of their signature cocktails, such as my favorite, the Subcontinental. Bombay Sapphire, cucumber and lime juice and a splash of Cointreau - delish!

Today was Maddy's first full day of summer vacation. Nothing says summer like a slip 'n slide!

I have a quasi-vague memory of one attempt at a slip-n-slide. It involved bruises.

We can't use slip and slides. Not allowed to, because of the drought. No hoses on gardens, no sprinklers and no fun.

Happy 300!

I stumbled across your blog two days ago. Since then, I have read every entry from the very first one.....

You made me laugh, you made me cry and you've made me say a million prayers for you and your girls. I'm not sure that faced with the things you've had to deal with that I could be as graceful, humorous or brave. I hardly know you and can see what an amazing woman you are.

I feel that through you, I've got to know just a little bit about the wonderful children you raised and I know that somewhere they must be so very proud of you.

Happy 300.

Wow, 300 posts. You have been busy! I love slip and slides. At least I used to...when I was Maddy's age.
