Maddy's New 'Do

On Wednesday, Maddy made her fourth donation to Locks of Love. 10 inches were taken for the wig, and then another couple were trimmed off to reveal this new swingy bob for summer.
She looks older, I think.

She has donated hair since she was 5. She said no more donations until she's older and she can reach to brush all of her hair. I agree with that logic, because I am not going to miss the morning routine of her crying and me losing patience while detangling all that hair.

Scott Mumper at Vogue Salon in Collinsville has done the honors for all four donations. Thanks Scott!

I've donated my hair to Locks of Love once. I had one foot removed.

I love bobs. I always said I wouldn't cut Rachel's hair, but the crying through detangling was awful, so that's what she'll have indefinitely. I kept telling her "it hurts to be beautiful." Maddy looks great!

Beautiful. I remember those days when B had wonderful long white blonde hair. She has donated a few times also. Very nice thing to do.

I adore the new cut! It is darling. I think that's fabulous, my daughter wants to do that, too.. when she's older. I will be doing it this next cut too.

Maddy looks faboo fo sho! I still can't believe that she was only 5 when she committed to do this - what a kid! She's earned her 'retirement' and I love the new do :)

Wow! I am so impressed with how many times she's donated her hair.
I've done it once - just made the chop recently and am totally impressed with the patience she has to grow her hair out repeatedly.

She's a beautiful little lady and I love the cut! Perfect for summer.

Maddy is a darling for doing this, not once but a few times. And lucky for her she looks fabulous with her new stylish bob :)
