We Can Rebuild Her

Maddy's procedure was successful. The doctors were able to realign her arm without surgery, and she didn't need to have any pins - yay! She has a brand new hot pink cast to show for her trouble, too.

Many, many thanks to the staff at Cardinal Glennon Hospital. Also, many thanks for your comments, prayers and well-wishes.

Yeah for Maddy! I'm glad to hear everything is fine and I'm sure you are very relieved! Now she can recuperate at home and watch her beloved Blues get their butts kicked by the Preds tonight! :)

Very glad to hear that Maddie's doing well! I broke my arm in third grade and had to go into surgery to have pins put in..but once they started operating, they realized that all of the bones had fallen back together like puzzle pieces & just left it! Now, I have a slightly deformed elbow when I twist it..but it got me out of TONS of push ups in p.e.! :) hope all is well!

That is a very stylish cast.

Very happy she did not need surgery.

Thank goodness she's okay!
Hot pink?!?
I'll have to ask Coby what he thinks of that color... I'm sure it will be a typical boy response...
But I love it!
