Wednesday Bites - The Technical Version

I joined Twitter. It took me a couple of days to figure it out, but now I can't leave it alone. You can get updates on your cell phone too. One more reason to spring for the iPhone. I can upgrade my phone now and I'm really thinking I might get one. If you have one, tell me the pros/cons. Is it worth it?

************

I also updated my blog roll...finally. If I left you off (a thousand apologies) or if you want to be added, let me know. I need to get Google Reader going, too, but baby steps, people.

***********

I will be setting up a website for my girls soon. I am not the most tech-savvy gal in the world, so this oughta be a learning experience. It will be a place for people to post pictures or stories about the girls, and give updates on their benefit in July (more info on that later). Hints, tips and help would be appreciated.

**********

Maddy has to do a school project on frogs and toads, with pictures, of course. Thank goodness I have access to a color printer. How did we do our homework before Google Images? How did we do our homework before the internet? And by "we" I mean those of us born before 1986.

**********

If you haven't heard about St. Louis Bloggers Guild, check it out.

**********

Happy Administrative Professionals Day! Make your boss take you to lunch. Or if you're the boss, take yourself to a nice looong lunch. Preferably with cocktails.

Hi Kim! I found your blog through Mamalogues and have been reading for a few months. I first want to say that I pray for you and your family often. About the iPhone. I have had on since October and I LOVE it! Usually, I am not one to have all of the technology gadgets. But, I had to have the iPhone. I love have the internet at the tip of my finger tips. The camera is also super conveient. Not the best pictures, but it gets the job done. It is super hand to have a cell phone, laptop, ipod and camera all in one. It's great! The touch screen is slightly annoying, but you get use to it. Let me know if you have any questions!

Sorry I'm not tech savvy so I'm no help on starting the website, but I'll be sure to visit often.

Thanks for adding me to the blogroll. It's my first time on someone else's 'roll. Be gentle! :)

Thanks for the link! Interested in hearing what you have cooking with the benefit and the site... wonder if this is something that the Guild might be able to assist with (the site)?

Kim, your tech questions are the kinds of things that the St. Louis Bloggers Guild is designed to help with. I know you've already paid your dues so you should be getting access to the Guild forums soon and you can post tech questions there for the people with that kind of know-how to answer. I see you've had an offer of help from one of your readers, but I wanted to highlight that this is one of the benefits you get from the Guild as well.
