What Are Your Weekend Plans?

My to do list for this weekend:

*cleaning out the crap under the deck

*fixing the deck

*power washing the deck

*staining the deck

*installing lattice boards to keep crap from going back under the deck

* moving a pile of bricks back where they were before Fence Build 2008

*buying new patio furniture

*cleaning off my front porch

*weeding the front flower bed

*power-washing my a/c units

*whatever else I can think of while I'm outside wielding a hammer and a power washer

Originally this list included pulling out the grape vines from my day lily bed and trimming an obnoxious bush, but Maddy helped me by doing that last night. I gave her $5. She is an awesome child.

What are you going to do?

At least once you're finished with all that work you'll be able to really enjoy that deck!

My number one goal this weekend is to get the rest of my apartment unpacked. The piles of boxes and trashbags of clothes are starting to make me nervous...

We have a 3rd b-day party to go to tonight at chuck-cheese. Yee-haw. Jake's 6th birthday party is tomorrow afternoon and then we go to a 40th b-day party tomorrow night! Jake's actual birthday is on Sunday....so more celebrating with family. I don't even really like cake that much..... :)

These past couple of months have been about as busy as can be. I'm looking forward to our first real weekend without plans. We have a birthday party we're attending, but all I have to do is show up.
Good for you though. I have no doubt you will accomplish all of those things. You're SO driven! I want tips.

for the first time in a long time we have nothing to do this weekend!!. We have been working way too hard, so I'm going to try to keep it that way.

I'm going on a business trip next week (weep) and I'll be doing laundry, packing, and setting things up so the Hubs can take care of the kids without imploding on himself.

I'll be doing absolutely nothing constructive! I'm proud of you for tackling all those projects! We're going to go see Step Brothers at the movies, grill out, and just generally be bums all weekend long! You know we have to relax before our vacation next weekend! ha.ha.

Well, I'm gonna tear out my uterus with a spoon...yeah, tmi....

And we are going to Pierogi Fest in Whiting IN. It is this awesome festival where you eat till you fall over and listen to polka music. Doesn't sound cool, but it is. Oprah has done a thing on her show about it, as well as HGTV and the Food Network....Very funny and the kids love it. I'll be posting pictures of the kids on my blog when we get back. And Sunday, I'll be tossing more toys. Yipee!!!!

I have no idea what I'm going to do. My mom had open heart surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago (kind of sudden) and my dad's been sick, too. So my life has been in a fog. I haven't read my usual blogs for a while, so I just have one question..
What happened to Mamalogues and why doesn't it come up anymore? I get "Internet Explorer Cannot Display WebPage."
